Silky Smooth Panna Cotta

This Panna Cotta recipe is so versatile that it could be made into multiple flavours.

Served in cute little pots, making them so adorable :)

Simple and easy but it will still WoW your guests when you churn out a rainbow :)

Ready to consume within an hour ...



Panna Cotta
Yields 6 pots

Ingredients
250g (1 cup) Milk
250g (1cup) Heavy cream
50g (1/4 cup) Granulated sugar
7g (1 envelope)Gelatin
45g (3 tbsp)Water
2g (1 tsp) Vanilla bean paste

Method
1. Soak gelatin powder in the water and let it absorb
2. Combine milk and sugar, heat and stir until sugar has dissolved
3. Add in gelatin mixture and mix until dissolved
4. Add vanilla bean paste to the warm mixture and stir until well combine
5. Pour in the cold heavy cream and stir to incorporate
6. Portion mixture and fill into 100ml pots
7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 45 min
8. Serve it cold

Tips
I. Keeping the heavy cream cold will help set the mixture faster
II. Use room temperature water to bloom gelatin
III. Panna Cotta is very rich, 100 ml pots will be the appropriate single serving
IV. This is a basic recipe, you can create different flavours with it. E.g. Matcha, Strawberry, Chocolate, Black Sesame, Purple Potato, Mango etc…
V. When add flavours to the mixture, add it after heating the milk and sugar mixture
