Snowman White Chocolate Oreo Truffles

It's winter already and where we live, it doesn't snow :(
So in order to "build" a snowman we have to make it through desserts...YAY!!

These adorable little truffles make great gifts for friends and families. It super simple and requires no special equipment.

It has the surprise creme filling inside and you can customize each flavor to your liking's.

Just make sure you don't finish eating them before packaging for your loved ones <3 

Don't say I didn't warn you : If you are not planing it make it for gifts, One batch is plenty. These little creatures will make you feel super guilty but you still wouldn't be able to resist.

Snowman Oreo Chocolate Truffles
Yields 12 truffles

Ingredients
Truffle:
12 Oreos
120g (4.23 oz) Semisweet Chocolate
50g (3 1/2 tbsp) Heavy cream

Coating:
White chocolate/ White candy coating 

Decoration:
12 Mini Oreos
Candy Sprinkles

Method
1. Combine cream and chocolate, heat it in the microwave or on a bain mare until chocolate is all melted
2. Remove filling from Oreos, roll each filling portion into a ball and freeze it until ready to use
3. Pulse cookie in a food processor to fine crumbs
4. Add the chocolate mixture into the cookie crumbs and mix until combine
5. Cover and cool truffle mixture until pliable
6. Portion the mixture into 12 even pieces
7. Remove the Oreo fillings from the freezer and wrap 1 portion of the truffle mixture covering 1 filling spheres then roll the whole thing to a smooth ball
8. Repeat until all 12 are made and freeze it for 15 minutes
9. Melt white chocolate or candy coating in a tall and skinny container
10. Remove truffles from the freezer and dip them in the coating and set it on parchment paper/wax paper to harder
11. Attach decorations with extra white chocolate 

Tips
I. You can crush the cookies with a rolling pin in a plastic bag without using a food processor
II. If you are using pure white chocolate, you have to temper I in order to stay hard
III. For more varieties, you can use all sorts of different Oreos, eg. Cookie dough crème oreos, Cool mint crème oreos, Birthday cake oreos, Peanut butter crème Oreos and many more
IV. Or try different combinations like using white chocolate ganache with golden Oreos
